In this webinar Matt from Matt Appleby Yoga took us through a 20 minute desk yoga sequence designed to help ease aches and pains that often appear when you are sat at a desk all day.
The pandemic has led to many of us now working from home, whether that be from the luxury of a home office, from the kitchen table or even from bed, you may have experienced aches and pains as a result of your new working position.
Matt began the session by talking about the importance of breathing, in a specific way that makes it easy. The reasoning behind is that for beginners, it can be difficult to remember to breathe. It is important to learn how to do this as the breath is regarded as the bridge between the body and the mind with Matt explaining that the perfect breath is 5.5 seconds long.
Matt then took the group through a yoga sequence of movements that you can continue to do throughout your working days, to continue those physical and emotional benefits.
